Museum of Children Literature

Fairy House is located in the modernistic style house which was built in 1931 by the Prime Minister of the Independent Lithuania Mykolas Slezevicius. The museum is known as the FAIRY HOUSE  young and elder visitors can see, hear, and know more about the best Lithuanian writers and their literary fairy tales, poems, plays.  There you can play, create, dream because THERE IS EVERYTHING ALLOWED. Even the exhibits CAN BE TOUCHED! Such a museum must be attended by every child and teacher at least once during the entire school year. We are convinced that even the children who don’t like reading will be encouraged to develop a reading habit after the visit at our museum.
