In Kaunas Santaka Park, where the Neris meets the Nemunas, the Lithuanian House of Basketball opened its doors in 2020 – a place where history and future, heart and mind, nature and the city’s pulse merge. Here stands a century-old oak tree around which the House of Basketball is arranged.
The House of Basketball is a vision brought to life, inspired by Arvydas Sabonis. It is a home for the entire Lithuanian basketball community – veterans, stars, coaches, and fans; everyone who values the game. The Lithuanian Basketball Association is based there, where strategic meetings and decisions shaping the country’s basketball development take place. More than an exhibition space, it is a living center where basketball ideas constantly pulse.
