M. K. Čiurlionis national art museum

The M. K. Čiurlionis National Museum of Art, established in 1921, is not only one of the oldest and largest museums in the country but also one of the most impressive examples of modernist architecture, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2023. It is the only place in the world with the creative legacy of the most famous Lithuanian artist, composer, and public figure M. K. Čiurlionis (1875-1911). The paintings and graphics of this brilliant Lithuanian artist are exhibited in the modern renovated premises since 2003. In the Music Hall of the museum, you can listen to his music.
