Kaunas Sports Hall

Kaunas Sports Hall is the second largest arena of Kaunas. Sports Hall was opened on May 21, 1939, it was built for Eurobasket finals and became first modern sports hall in Lithuania. It is also known as the Lithuanian sports „mecca“. Kaunas Sports Hall held many different sports, basketball, futsal, volleyball, boxing, acrobatic and rhythmical gymnastics, dancing and of course handball. Kaunas Sports Hall versatility allows to hold top–level sports competitions there. A good illustration of this approach has been the FIBA 2015 U-16 European championship, most of all games were played in Kaunas Sports Hall. Capacity: 5000.
